VegOut Menu Ideas

We do not have any set vegetarian or vegan menus, but prefer to discuss what you would like on an individual basis.  This way, we can include (or avoid!) any particular dish or ingredient.  Our aim is to provide a wide range of interesting food, so that even non-veggies don’t think about ‘where was the meat?’

Although we can cook pretty much whatever veggie food you want, we realise that a complete ‘blank canvas’ can be a bit daunting, so here are a few ideas:

Creamy mushroom and cashew nut baklava
Carrot and chestnut cannelloni with watercress cream
Pancakes filled with leeks and parsnip, served with a tomato and fennel salsa
Mushroom, leek and stilton wellington served with a real ale gravy
Puy lentil, tomato and red wine moussaka

We can also include meat substitute ‘Bacon’, ‘Hot Dogs’, ‘Savoury Nuggets’, ‘Cheatin’ Ham’ and ‘Sausage Rolls’ which can be popular with children and non-veggies.
